Shabby chic in the budget yarden….it’s not a back yard, it’s a garden

Well who said a fiction blog couldn’t have a horse and garden section.
So, today’s projects….
Trying to give a hint of varied planting heights in the tiny yarden.
Reclaimed small pallets, made into fan shape steps and painted with very cheap emulsion ( the paint will fade and run, Instant ageing).
The planting isn’t quite there yet, am thinking steps of lavender.

And an ongoing project. Old broken bench as a planter, still need to finish painting and insert hardboard to fill broke areas.
